A friend of mine is in some financial trouble and unable to pay her rent
She has been signed off work for a physical condition that leaves her kinda disabled and is currently waiting to hear about what financial aid she qualifies for.
Her rent is over due as she was only able to pay half of it and now needs to raise some money quick sharp to pay the rest before the letting agency gets nasty.
In order to raise this money she's offering some beautiful items from her jewellery box up for sale. (She's too proud to ask for donations or help and would rather sell her belongings to raise the money)
Shes been collecting these items for about 8 ye

I do but I dont tend to put my jewellery on there. They disappear amongst the cheap chinese stuff lol.
I tend to do more private sales through facebook, here and similar gallery sites. Or Craft fayres. But my pages online open me up to a wider worldwide audience. I am hoping to open an etsy at somepoint though.

I was thinking about etsy but I don't know about the fees. I opened a 'business' account on ebay - it works better than personal accounts. I'm going to sell mine in Car boot/craft fairs this summer, I think the customer should see the product first, because i prefer to see it too.
